FAUSETT, Charley Edward (b. 1856) is the son of John McKee FAUSETT & Abigail HARRIS. Abigail married John after the death of second husband, Stephen SHELTON.
FAUSETT, John McKee. Sealings were done on 27 May 1881 in St. George, Utah. John died in 1874 which makes this especially interesting. Here are IGI references: Dorcas SHELTON is Film 170587, Ref #9084; Polly BROWN is Film 170597, Ref #9082; Jemima BROWN was Film 170597, Ref #9083. Another IGI record with no reference number exists for Jemina [sic] Brown. Birth: About 1815 "of St Louis MO" with parents John BROWN & Elizabeth BROWN. Mrs. Dorcas SHELTON, born 1807, Dickson, Tennessee, married Coleman SHELTON about 1833. My hunch is that he is the brother of Stephen. Coleman married Dorcas BROWN & Stephen married her sister, Nancy. (Another researcher had a note that our Nancy BROWN had a sister named Dorcas.)
