Henry Miles ALEXANDER is the nephew of Alvah & the son of Alvah's brother, Henry S. ALEXANDER. Margaret BONNER's brother George III married Phebie ALEXANDER, daughter of Alvah J. ALEXANDER & Elizabeh SOULE. Sarah Jane Ross' daughter, Mary Jane ALEXANDER married George SHELTON.
Sarah Jane ROSS is the daughter of James ROSS & Susan ROBEY of Provo, Utah. She was born on 7 Jan 1858. Sarah married Henry Miles ALEXANDER on 22 Jul 1872 in the Endowment House in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sarah was known for her sewing skills and was recognized as a community seamstress. She also spent much time caring for the sick. The couple settled in Midway, Utah. They later moved to Heber, Utah. Henry & Sarah had 12 children: Sarah Miles, Minnie Maud, Henry Samuel, Susan Lavernia, Mary Jane, Florence Ione, Charles Sterling, James Jackson, Lelia May, J. Monroe, George Albert & William Ray ALEXANDER. Sarah died at the birth of her twelth child on 1 Apr 1896. She was only 38 yrs.(HOWB,p699)
